| Welcome to my Page!
Welcome to Mrs. Young's 3rd Grade Class! I graduated high school from Kokomo and then went on to get my Bachelors Degree in Education from Indiana University. I began teaching third grade at Western Intermediate in 2008. I have a true passion for teaching! I love each and every one of my kiddos! About Me~ I have always wanted to be a teacher! I am so excited to be teaching here at Western Intermediate. I have a wonderful husband and two sons, Carter 4 and Collin 1 1/2 that keep me busy! I am the Intermediate Representative for PTO and share Project 30 Mentoring with Mrs. Irwin. I love country music, the color pink, and taking pictures. I am an IU fan and enjoy watching Carter play t-ball and soccer. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help your child succeed!

Classroom Birthday Parties
Classroom Birthdays are celebrated once a month on the 3rd Friday at 2:20 p.m. We celebrate all of the monthly birthdays at the same time. I will send home information at the beginning of each month with the celebration date. You are welcome to send in treats and join us.
